This is a highly interactive half-day course aimed to update the knowledge of support staff with the necessary Medical Terminology used in the NHS.
The course is aimed at all categories of staff to include administrative and clerical staff, healthcare assistants, nurse support workers and hotel services staff who are either based in a hospital setting or in the community.

Course content
An interactive basic anatomy session to include ‘The Skeletal Systems & Organs of the body; Medical Terminology to include basic word structure, suffixes and prefixes; common abbreviations and symbols ; a virtual tour of different hospital departments to include their functions, procedures and staff; a film viewing session on some procedures and quizzes to test your knowledge and understanding.
